Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?
Jerome Felton: My mom, she has sacrificed a lot for me, my brothers, and my sister, so a lot of the things I do are to make sure she can enjoy some of the things she didn’t get to do while she was making sure we were always taken care of.
Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?
Jerome Felton: Beating Georgia Southern at home to win the Southern Conference Championship.
Luke Nicholson: Is there a situation in your past where you overcame adversity? How did you do it and how has it made you a better person?
Jerome Felton: The only adversity I feel like I’ve really had to overcome is coming from a really small high school and college, and working to put myself in the position that I’m in now.
Luke Nicholson: What did you gain from your experience at the East-West Shrine Game and what did you learn from Dick Vermeil?
Jerome Felton: At the East-West game I learned that the NFL is a business and you have to carry yourself as a professional on and off the field. Just being able to be coached by Coach Vermeil was an honor; it was fun being out there with all the guys, working hard.
Luke Nicholson: Are scouts planning to work you out at running back, as well as fullback? How do you feel about the possibility of a position change?
Jerome Felton: Well I played fullback and tailback in college, and I think some scouts have me at different positions, I am comfortable at either position and I will adapt to whatever the team that selects me wants me to do
Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?
Jerome Felton: Chad Nkang was the best player I faced in college.
Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?
Jerome Felton: If I could pick one super power it would be super human strength, then nobody could ever tackle me.
Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?
Jerome Felton: I want to work on technique, and I just want to keep evolving my game, you can’t ever get complacent.
Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?
Jerome Felton: I think I resemble a few players, Jerome Bettis, Mike Alstott, but I don’t really model my game after certain players.
Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?
Jerome Felton: A young Denzel, "The Sky’s the Limit"
Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?
Jerome Felton: I’ve talked to a lot of teams, so its hard to tell at this point.
Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?
Jerome Felton: Nope, I just want to be in the NFL.
Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?
Jerome Felton: Dog, I’m aggressive and competitive.
Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other fullbacks in this draft?
Jerome Felton: Because I’m the most versatile and complete fullback in this years draft.
Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?
Jerome Felton: I want to go into business and stay in the sports realm.
Luke Nicholson: If you could block for any NFL running back, who would you choose? Why?
Jerome Felton: Adrian Peterson, we are both young and we could do something special for a long time to come.
Luke Nicholson: As a fullback, which is more rewarding: Rushing for a touchdown or making the block that gets the running back into the endzone?
Jerome Felton: Both have their differences, but they’re equally gratifying because both help the team.
Luke Nicholson: Finish the following sentence: Jerome Felton is tougher than…
Jerome Felton: Every other fullback or big back in this year’s draft.
Luke Nicholson: Thank you for your time, Jerome. The staff at FFLiveWire wishes you the best of luck in all of your NFL endeavors.
