Jamie Silva: Beating Clemson to clinch the entrance to the ACC title game.
Luke Nicholson: During your career at Boston College, what did your typical day during football season consist of?
Jamie Silva: Wake up, lift, watch film, have lunch, attend meetings, attend practice, head to class and then head back to room about 9pm.
Luke Nicholson: I interviewed your brother, Steve, two years ago. What advice have you received from him on the pursuit of a career in the NFL?
Jamie Silva: Just keep working hard and believe in yourself.
Luke Nicholson: What did you gain from your experience at the East-West Shrine Game and what did you learn from Dick Vermeil?
Jamie Silva: It was good to play against other top guys around the country. It felt good to know you belong there.
Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?
Jamie Silva: Nobody jumps out.
Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?
Jamie Silva: To stop time around me while I can still move because then I could prevent a lot of bad things from happening.
Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?
Jamie Silva: I really don’t know.
Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?
Jamie Silva: Rodney Harrison and Troy Polamalu
Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?
Jamie Silva: Brad Pitt and it would be called The Wonderful Life.
Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for the NFL Combine?
Jamie Silva: I trained with Coach Tom Shaw at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?
Jamie Silva: I’m a dog because I have a viscous bite.
Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?
Jamie Silva: Watching movies and treasure hunting.
Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other safeties in this draft?
Jamie Silva: I’m tough, instinctive, make plays and can make the team better.
Luke Nicholson: If you could intercept any NFL quarterback, who would you choose? Why?
Jamie Silva: Any interception of an NFL QB would be exciting!
Luke Nicholson: Do you see yourself as a free safety or strong safety in the NFL?
Jamie Silva: Both.
