Cornerback Jerrid Gaines took the time to answer some questions with FFLiveWire's Luke Nicholson about his career at Miami (Ohio), the influence of his father, and his preperation for his Pro Day.

 

 

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

Jerrid Gaines: My biggest role model is my father because he is a very strong person with good morals and values. He played in the NFL for 5 years. He played the same position that I play and I have inherited his speed and athleticism. When I was young, I would always hear stories about how good my dad was.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Jerrid Gaines: My greatest football moment was winning the MAC Championship and going on to win the GMAC Bowl in 2003. We had a really great team and it was very fun to play each game.

Luke Nicholson: During your career at Miami (Ohio), what did your typical day during football season consist of?

Jerrid Gaines: At Miami my typical day during football season usually consisted of waking up at 7:15am, eating breakfast at 7:30am, going to classes between 8am and 12pm. I ate lunch at around 12. Practice and meetings took place during the hours of 2:30 to about 5:30. After practice I would eat dinner at around 6:30 and would go to study tables from 7 to 9.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Jerrid Gaines: In high school I played football, basketball, and ran track. Basketball has helped me with my agility and awareness on the football field. Being on the track team has helped me improve my speed.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Jerrid Gaines: Just thinking about it, no big names really come to mind but one player I have a lot of respect for is Ernest Wheelwright of Minnesota.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Jerrid Gaines: If I could have a super power it would have to be the ability to lift people's spirits because I never like to see someone down, life should be enjoyed and not taken for granted.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

Jerrid Gaines: I would like to improve on every aspect of my game from ball skills to field awareness because there is always room for improvement.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

Jerrid Gaines: I don’t really like to compare myself to other players, but the one player I do admire and look up to is Champ Bailey because he is a complete cornerback who covers and he gets involved with the run.

Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?

Jerrid Gaines: If someone decided to make a movie about me it would definitely have to titled "Against All Odds" and the actor who would play me would be Bobby Ri'chard.

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for your Pro Day?

Jerrid Gaines: In preparation for my Pro Day I am training in Houston, Texas with my trainer JJ Barnett and also working with Aaron Glenn and Jason Simmons.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

Jerrid Gaines: Many teams have expressed interest in me.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

Jerrid Gaines: Oh no, I would be more than happy to play for any team.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?

Jerrid Gaines: I'm a dog because I am aggressive and I like to get physical but I am still sensitive, friendly, loyal, and can get along with anyone.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

Jerrid Gaines: I like to hang out with friends, spend time with my family, work out, and spend time with my girlfriend.

Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other cornerbacks in this draft?

Jerrid Gaines: Teams should select me over other cornerbacks in this draft because I bring a lot to the table being able to play a variety of coverages, the toughness to get involved with the run, and I bring a strong work ethic.

Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?

Jerrid Gaines: After football I would like to open up a training facility to develop young athletes or even coach the game of football.

Luke Nicholson: If you could intercept any NFL quarterback, who would you choose? Why?

Jerrid Gaines: If I could intercept any quarterback in the NFL it would have to be Tom Brady of the Patriots because I think he is one of the greatest quarterbacks that has ever played the game.

Eastern Washington guard Matt Alfred took the time to answer some questions with FFLiveWire's Luke Nicholson about his collegiate career, his NFL aspirations, and plans beyond his football career.

 

 

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

Matt Alfred: My dad because he is an incredibly hard worker.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Matt Alfred: Winning the Big Sky in 2004 in double overtime against Montana State.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Matt Alfred: I played baseball, wrestled, and played soccer. Baseball helped me with hand eye coordination as well as learning to be patient, wrestling helped me learn how to use my size and out-leverage my opponents, and soccer really helped with my footwork.

Luke Nicholson: Are scouts planning to work you out at offensive tackle and center, as well as guard? How do you feel about the possibility of a position change?

Matt Alfred: I believe that I will be tested as a guard and center primarily, but I have played tackle in the past and am up for any challenge.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Matt Alfred: Keilen Dykes (West Virginia DT) and Jordan Beck (Cal Poly LB)

Luke Nicholson: How has playing with Zach Wasielewski helped your development and do you see a future in the NFL for your teammate?

Matt Alfred: Playing with Zach was great because we pushed each other to be great day in and day out. He is a great guy and will be a positive member of any team he plays for in the future.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Matt Alfred: I would want to have the ability to freeze time, because there never seems to be enough time in the day for me.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

Matt Alfred: Sometimes my feet are too active and I must force myself to slow them down.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

Matt Alfred: Alan Faneca because he moves well and is incredibly tough.

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for your Pro Day?

Matt Alfred: I am training at Rockwood sports performance and also with my line coach Tom Ackerman six days a week on a split routine of weight training and speed work.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

Matt Alfred: Many teams have shown interest. The Raiders, Lions, Jets, and Packers to name a few.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

Matt Alfred: I would love the opportunity to play for a team where I will have the most ability to contribute. I have to admit to being a lifelong fan of the Seahawks though.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?

Matt Alfred: I'm a dog because I'm strong, resourceful and loyal to the people I love.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

Matt Alfred: I like to play video games and listen to a variety of music. I also like to work out and watch movies with my girlfriend to relax.

Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other guards in this draft?

Matt Alfred: I am physically tough and a quick learner. I can adapt on the fly to a variety of situations and circumstances.

Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?

Matt Alfred: I will have a degree in Exercise Science and would like to use that to open my own training facility for any athletes looking to take their game to the next level.

Matt Alfred: LaDainian Tomlinson, because he can hit the hole at full speed better than anyone and also has amazing vision to setup his runs.

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

Nile Legania: My biggest role model is my Mother. Because as I single mother, she worked numerous of job to make sure I didn’t want for anything and she is my BIGGEST supporter.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Nile Legania: I would have to say, the Semi-Final of my junior year in high school, Tuerling Catholic was in the red zone and I intercepted a pass in corner of the in-zone to seal the victory.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a situation in your past where you overcame adversity? How did you do it and how has it made you a better person?

Nile Legania: Yes, when I puncture my lung my sophomore year in college. I could have just gave up and been out for the season, but instead I was only out for one game. Since then I realize that any given moment can be your last so always give a 100% on and off the field.

Luke Nicholson: During your career at Wayne State, what did your typical day during football season consist of?

Nile Legania: A typical day for me at Wayne was online classes, 1:00 meeting and 4:15 practice.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Nile Legania: Along with football, I also did track and field. It gives you that explosion to change gears on the football field.

Luke Nicholson: What led to your decision to transfer from Delta State to Wayne State before the 2007 season?

Nile Legania: It was just time for a new beginning.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Nile Legania: I would have to say Chris Henry (Bengals).

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Nile Legania: I want be a young Flash, because in a blink of an eye you can miss me.

Nile Legania: I am a cat because I can get myself out of any situation and I am fast on my feet.

Nile Legania: Because I am not only a cornerback, I am also a return man, so with me it is a double threat.

Nile Legania: To continue to live my life the way God intended and possibly coaching.

Nile Legania: Peyton Manning, because is very seldom he throws an interception.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a better cornerback or kick returner? Do you believe you can excel in both roles at the NFL level?

Nile Legania: I believe I am an athlete who’s trapped inside a cornerback’s body who can also return kicks. Yes, I believe I can excel in both roles at the NFL level, but most teams are looking for an explosive return man and I can provide that.

Luke Nicholson: Which NFL kick returners do you think you could beat out for a job?

Nile Legania: I am not going to call any names, but my advice to them is don’t slip up.

Northwestern cornerback Deante Battle took the time to answer some questions with FFLiveWire's Luke Nicholson about his training, college career, and similarities to Antoine Winfield.

 

 

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

Deante Battle: My parents, they have been there to support me thru everything and provided me with the tools to not only be successful on the field, but off the field as well.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Deante Battle: In 2004 when we beat Ohio State, they were ranked in the top ten at the time, and just seeing the fans rush the field was an awesome feeling.

Luke Nicholson: During your career at Northwestern, what did your typical day during football season consist of?

Deante Battle: 6 AM meetings, 7 AM practice, 12 lift classes and film again around 6pm. Not much time for anything but football.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Deante Battle: Well I ran summer track and speed can never hurt you as a cornerback.

Luke Nicholson: What influenced you to attend Northwestern over other schools?

Deante Battle: I just thought it was a great opportunity to not only play Big Ten football but also get a great education. Many people ask why did I pick Northwestern over other big football schools that I had offers from. My parents always say you need that degree to fall back on if football doesn’t work and Northwestern offers the best of both worlds in my opinion.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Deante Battle: Well I’ve played against so many good receivers ranging from Mario Manningham, Jason Avant, Ted Ginn, Anthony Gonzalez, Santonio Holmes and Dorien Bryant just to name a few, but if I had to choose one I’d say Avant was the most complete receiver I have faced.

Luke Nicholson: How has playing with Reggie McPherson helped your development and do you see a future in the NFL for your teammate?

Deante Battle: It helped a lot. I learned how just simple communication could change the outcome of games. If I thought I had an opposing teams tendency figured out and I wanted to jump a route, I’d let him know and he could protect me in case I was off that play. Reggie Mac definitely has a chance to play in the NFL, he’s a smart player and also has great ball skills after moving from receiver after our red-shirt year.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Deante Battle: The ability to stop time...times the one thing u can’t get back and having a few extra hrs to the day could make life less hectic.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

Deante Battle: I’d say my ball skills, I can catch no problem but I definitely dropped a couple picks over my career because I was trying to catch with my body as opposed to my hands.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

Deante Battle: Antoine Winfield...I started hearing the comparisons from Ohio State fans so I decided to take a deeper look at his play and I'm around his size and we are both very physical corners...not afraid to go and make big hits.

Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?

Deante Battle: The title would be "Keep Pushing" just because I’ve been doubted so many times because of my size and I’d definitely like to play myself.

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for your Pro Day?

Deante Battle: I’m working out at Wellness Performance Institute in Georgia. Its about thirty guys here all with the same purpose...the NFL. We have guys ranging from 1st round picks all the way to free agents. It’s great being here with players from all over the country such as DL DeMario Pressley from NC State, Kregg Lumpkin from UGA, Travis Brown from New Mexico, Alan Turner from Southern Illinois and even the Walter Payton award winner Jayson Foster from Georgia Southern.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

Deante Battle: To tell the truth, when scouts came in during the season I rarely paid attention to what team they were from.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

Deante Battle: I have no preference; I just want the opportunity to showcase my skills, although warm weather would be a plus.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?

Deante Battle: I’d say cat because I’m very agile and quick. Those are qualities that definitely help me on the field.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

Deante Battle: I just like to hang out with friends and that usually means playing video games. Madden or NCAA.

Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other cornerbacks in this draft?

Deante Battle: I feel I have the complete package good cover skills but also will come up and make a big hit. I think when the scouts take a look at my files they will see I have a lot of skills and I can do a lot of things such as play the nickel which I played a lot of in my career.

Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?

Deante Battle: One of my friends have been talking to me about investment banking, that’s what he has gotten into and from what I’ve heard I’m very interested.

Deante Battle: Peyton Manning, I say if you have a choice you might as well choose the best QB there is.

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

Derrick Morse: My father, he is always there for me and fully supports me in everything I do...he’s my best friend.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Derrick Morse: Beating Florida State @ Doke Campbell stadium this year.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Derrick Morse: Besides playing football I did track and field. I threw the shot put and discuss. I wasn’t very good but we didn’t have anyone else to do it...I also wrestled but only to keep in shape. I was too heavy to compete at it...training for wrestling really prepares you physically for anything you’ll ever do in your life...especially football.

Luke Nicholson: You have played both center and guard at Miami. How has this versatility helped you as a player?

Derrick Morse: I played guard most of my career at Miami...I played a lot of center during practice and really got a good feel for it...if there was a time I needed to play center this year I could have easily stepped in...Playing center is a lot different because you can’t be as aggressive as you can be at guard...the game kind of seems slower but it’s also fun. Just playing on the o-line with your boys is fun....but learning center has really helped me because it made me a smarter player, a better student of the game.

Luke Nicholson: Do you prefer playing center or guard? Are scouts planning to work you out at both positions?

Derrick Morse: Yes I will be working out at both positions but naturally I’m more comfortable at guard because I’ve played it for the last 5 years...but moving to center will be no problem. I just love to play and will play anywhere.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Derrick Morse: I would have to say Ray McDonald from the University of Florida or Orien Harris our d-tackle from a few seasons ago.

Luke Nicholson: How has playing with Andrew Bain helped your development and do you see a future in the NFL for your teammate?

Derrick Morse: Andrew and I are really close friends and currently roommates...he is a great student of the game and really helped me be a film junky...he is a great player and will definitely have a great future in the NFL.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Derrick Morse: Since I just saw the movie jumper I would have to say the ability to transport myself. I could get all the money I need and want plus go anywhere in the world at the drop of a hat and I can also bring people with me... so I think that would be really cool.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

Derrick Morse: I need to be less aggressive in my pass protection. Sometimes I am overaggressive and it gets me in trouble.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

Derrick Morse: Jon Runyan from the Philadelphia Eagles. He plays nasty and that’s how I play.

Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?

Derrick Morse: I would have to say Chris Farley because he is a big guy who knows how to entertain a crowd and make people laugh and the name of the movie would be "Derrick Morse, Real Man of Genius."

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for your Pro Day?

Derrick Morse: Train my tail off everyday with the best strength coach in the world, Andrue Swasey, down at Miami.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

Derrick Morse: Raiders, Lions, Jaguars, Dolphins, Ravens, Rams, Titans.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

Derrick Morse: Dolphins, life long fan and it’s my dream to play for them.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?

Derrick Morse: Dog, dogs are loyal, bigger, stronger, and liked better by most.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

Derrick Morse: Bowling, golfing, chilling with my boys doing our thing.

Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other centers in this draft?

Derrick Morse: Because I am a football player. I can play multiple positions and be great at them while competing at a high level. I know for a fact that I work harder than anyone else and I’m a team guy. I love hanging out with my teammates and genuinely care about them as well as winning games and championships

Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?

Derrick Morse: I would love to make enough money to take care of my family and open up a chain of sports bars in the great state of Florida.

Derrick Morse: Brett Favre...one of the best quarterbacks to ever play and you know all he cares about is winning games and having fun while doing it...and that’s the same mentality I have.

Kent State cornerback Jack Williams took the time to answer some questions with FFLiveWire's Luke Nicholson about his collegiate career, making plays on the field, and what makes him one of the elite cornerbacks in the 2008 NFL Draft.

 

 

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

Jack Williams: A 99 yard interception return for a TD in my first college game at Iowa.

Luke Nicholson: During your career at Kent State, what did your typical day during football season consist of?

Jack Williams: Wake up go watch film, then go to class, watch film, then go to practice. After practice go to the recreation center and sit in the hot tub

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

Jack Williams: I played football, track, wrestling, and baseball. Baseball helped me with my ball skills as far as judging the ball in the air and wrestling just made me tougher and put me in better shape.

Luke Nicholson: Are scouts planning to work you out at free safety, as well as cornerback? How do you feel about the possibility of a position change?

Jack Williams: I don’t know if the scouts plan on working me out at FS but I would change positions in a heart beat if that’s what I had to do to make a club and be successful in the NFL.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

Jack Williams: Greg Jennings who now plays for the Green Bay Packers.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

Jack Williams: Ability to disappear and be in two different places with the snap of a finger, so I could get home faster if I needed to be or wanted to visit.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

Jack Williams: Making plays. Coaches want to play people who make plays in practice and in the game.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

Jack Williams: I can’t say just one. I try to take a little bit of skills from all of them and implement it into my game.

Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?

Jack Williams: Chris Brown and the movie would be called You Don’t Know Jack.

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for the NFL Combine?

Jack Williams: Training hard 6 days a week 2 times a day.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

Jack Williams: Not really sure. But I hope all of them.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

Jack Williams: I would be blessed and honored to play for any team that believes in me enough to draft me.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

Jack Williams: I like to draw, play video games, cook and watch TV.

Jack Williams: I have what the other corners don’t. I have triple threat. I’m a cover corner, tackle/hard hitting corner, as well as a kick returner and I have special teams ability.

Jack Williams: Right now I’m just focusing on my football career. Sorry.

Jack Williams: I have a twin brother named John.

FFLiveWire Exclusive Interview with LeRue Rumph

North Carolina State outside linebacker LeRue Rumph took the time to answer some questions with FFLiveWire's Luke Nicholson about what he needs to work on to excel in the NFL, his Pro Day preperation, and his experiences on the field in both high school and college.

 

 

Luke Nicholson: Who is your biggest role model? Why?

LeRue Rumph: My mother, Sylvia Rumph, because as a single mother she managed to get her doctorate of education and provide for my brother and I. She has always been there for us and is, by my definition, the best mother in the world.

Luke Nicholson: What is your greatest football moment to date?

LeRue Rumph: My sophomore year at Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCC) has to serve as my greatest football moments. We had Jay Davis (former NC State QB) at the QB, Marcus Edwards (Former USF WR transferred to San Diego State WR) and myself as the WRs. Nobody in FLA could see us in 2003.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a situation in your past where you overcame adversity? How did you do it and how has it made you a better person?

LeRue Rumph: My junior year in high school I broke my leg during the third game of the season. I came back my senior year, bigger, faster and stronger than ever only to re-injure the same leg. It was a humbling experience because a lot of colleges backed off. Hard work and love for the game has guided me this far in my career, and will help me make my name in the NFL.

Luke Nicholson: During your career at North Carolina State, what did your typical day during football season consist of?

LeRue Rumph: A typical day during the season would be that I woke up in the morning, ate breakfast at Chik-Fil-A, went to class, went to study hall, ate lunch at the dining hall (CASE) then caught the bus (VET SCHOOL) to the stadium around twelve to lift n watch film. Meetings started around 2 followed by practice.

Luke Nicholson: What sports did you participate in during high school and how have they helped you to become a better player on the football field?

LeRue Rumph: I played basketball in high school and the whole concept of “Team” and everyone having a job to do helped me on the football field. The same concepts apply.

Luke Nicholson: Who is the best player you have faced during your career?

LeRue Rumph: Ernie Sims. I played him in high school when he was a running back at North Florida.

Luke Nicholson: If you could have any super power, what would you choose? Why?

LeRue Rumph: Infinite knowledge so I could correct people when they’re wrong and just to know everything.

Luke Nicholson: What one thing do you have to work on the most to excel at the NFL level?

LeRue Rumph: Read and recognition of plays and trusting my eyes. Once you’re good at that you can play full speed and make plays.

Luke Nicholson: What current NFL player does your game most resemble?

LeRue Rumph: D’Qwell Jackson (We grew up together and I‘ve always tried to make my game like his).

Luke Nicholson: If someone decided to make a movie about your life, what actor would play you and what would the movie be titled?

LeRue Rumph: Sebastian Belfair (my boys always say we look alike). The movie would be titled “Mr.3000.”

Luke Nicholson: What are you doing to prepare for your Pro Day?

LeRue Rumph: I’m working out in Atlanta at Game Time sports complex with Eric Lougas and Kevin Peoples.

Luke Nicholson: Which teams have expressed interest in you at this point?

LeRue Rumph: Not sure but after my pro day every team in the NFL will be interested. Especially 4-3 teams.

Luke Nicholson: Is there a specific team you hope to play for?

LeRue Rumph: I like the Bucs and Chiefs but I am open to play anywhere, as long as I’m wearing a jersey and knocking off helmets.

Luke Nicholson: Are you a cat or a dog? Why?

LeRue Rumph: More of a viscously hungry hybrid of the two.

Luke Nicholson: Outside of football, what are some of your hobbies?

LeRue Rumph: Working out and chilling with my spider monkey.

Luke Nicholson: Why should a NFL team select you over other linebackers in this draft?

LeRue Rumph: I’m smart and can learn a playbook in no time. Other LBs have played the position since high school, while the extent of my experience at the position has been since my sophomore year in college, so I have tremendous upside. I can run, cover and tackle, not to mention I’m a special teams demon.

Luke Nicholson: What are your plans for your career after football?

LeRue Rumph: I plan to run for president.

Luke Nicholson: What is something unique about you that most people don’t know?

LeRue Rumph: I won states in AAU basketball. (Ask my ace Wes Green at DePaul).

Luke Nicholson: If you could sack any NFL quarterback, who would you choose? Why?

LeRue Rumph: Brett Favre. That’s probably the only time I’ll get close enough to ask for his autograph.
